Currently, the Swaffham & District u3a has 18 interest groups and some 350 members. Many groups meet in members' homes and others, such as short mat bowls, softball tennis and table tennis, meet at other local venues.
All groups have a leader, who co-ordinates the group's activities and assumes overall responsibility for the group members. A small charge may be made to meet costs. Group leaders receive no payment for running their group(s). Days and times when groups meet may sometimes change due to illness or holidays.
If you are interested in joining a group, either contact the Group Leader or the Groups' Co-ordinator. If a group is full your interest will be registered and you will be contacted if a vacancy arises.
